COURSE OUTLINES
Even though training to become a service technician is a serious matter, we pride ourselves on our energic, practical and engaging format that simulates real working scenarios. Our courses contain a lot of valuable content to ensure participants remain engaged rather than listening to war stories of the trainer’s past experiences. Unlike many other providers, all our instructors are either qualified A-Grade Electricians or maintenance personnel working in the test and tag field supported by our in-house A-Grade Electrician. Our standards for trainers are high to ensure that the information you receive during this course is current, practical, and not just taught by anybody holding the certification. We believe in providing highly qualified trainers with real and current industry experience.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQs)
Here are a few of our most frequently asked questions on this course; please click on any questions below to expand the content.
WHY DOES THIS COURSE HAVE A SELF-PACED (ONLINE) PERSONAL STUDY COMPONENT?
Most people enrolled in a course are unaware that a nationally accredited course is assigned with nominal (recommended) hours as a guide to the RTO in how much time should be allocated to the training and assessing of a unit of competence. As nominal hours are used as a guide, RTOs can vary slightly in actual hours the delivery and assessment; however, it must be noted that extreme variations in delivery hours are causes for concern.
This course has been assigned 25 nominal hours; therefore, no training provider in Australia should deliver this course in one day without a personal study component. Like a wise TV Judge once said, “if it sounds too good to be true, then it is!”
Think about it…. how do you fit 25 hours of information into 7 hours without homework? More importantly, how do you fit 25 hours of learning into 2 hours as some other providers of this course are claiming to do; therefore, a personal study component is essential in ensuring that the underpinning knowledge and topic foundations are taught
For this reason, we have developed an interactive, informative and enjoyable online personal study component that allows you to complete all the non-practical yet important components in your own time at home or at work. Once you have completed the learning materials for each topic, you will be asked to complete a small quiz to confirm your understanding of what you have just learned.
NOTE: Each topic has a quiz. The number of questions in a quiz varies between 6 to 16, depending on the topic.
WHAT IF I AM NOT CONFIDENT USING A COMPUTER OR I DO NOT HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER OR THE INTERNET?
For those who are not confident with a computer, Intelligent Training Solutions may be able to arrange for you to attend our training centre before your course, where our staff can support you in completing your online personal study component using our computers and internet.
Please Note: We will always recommend you attempt to complete your personal study component online at home. Our team of trainers and administrators are available on our phones to support you in gaining access to your Learner Portal.
WHAT IS INVOLVED WITH THE 7HR IN-CLASS (FACE-TO-FACE) TRAINING SESSION?
The face-to-face training session is a fun, interactive, hands-on session that covers all the practical elements of the test and tag service technician. Information is presented to you in a conversational delivery approach, with lots of real-world scenarios, enhanced video, modern presentations and, most importantly, a direct focus on practical, easy-to-implement approaches and techniques.

LIVE STUDENT FEEDBACK FROM GOOGLE
We strongly recommend checking out the reviews past students have left us on Google. We believe that live reviews and ratings speak volumes compared to the static snippets of favourable reviews most other training providers put on their websites. Below is a live feed from our Google reviews. This is an unfiltered feed. The reviews listed below are from students of every course we deliver. If you wish to find a specific review on a course you are interested in, you may need to look through the list. 🙂
